The proud 20-room Robinson Farmhouse has served as lodging and gathering place for friends, families, celebrators, and travelers for the past decade. Located on Route 4, six miles west from the picturesquevillage of Woodstock, this former dairy farm fronting the Ottauquechee River has charm, history, and simple elegance. Recently completed updates, including safety and comfort features such as private bathrooms,honored the property’s listing on the Vermont State Historic Register. We strive to observe green practices and have been profiled by Westchester Magazine as an "Excellent Eco-Friendly Getaway".
Our Vermont Location
The Farmhouse Inn bed and breakfast is an ideal home base for central Vermont vacations and for private getaways, family gatherings, weddings and civil unions, reunions, ski vacations, fall foliage tours, sportsman lodging, motorcycle and bicycle tours, strategic planning sessions, employee retreats, or other private meetings. Our parking area can accommodate a number of horse or snowmobile trailers.
Perhaps you will visit the inn during one of our knitting workshops, outdoor summer movies, campfires, full moon snowshoeing, house concerts, sugaring, igloo building, or other spontaneous activities. The area also offers hiking, antiquing, art galleries, world class bicycling, fly fishing on the property, horseback riding, golfing, canoeing, restaurants, Billings Farm and Rockefeller Mansion, glassworks, furniture and pottery studios, indoor ice skating, and more. Killington, Pico, Okemo, and Suicide Six ski areas are only minutes away.
