Couchant is an upside down gite with bedrooms downstairs that stay delightfully cool during our hot summers, and a light and airy living area upstairs with spectacular beams.

Entrance hall leads to one double and one twin bedroom, a bath/shower/wc and a shower/wc.  The third bedroom (a twin) is up its own staircase.  

Upstairs is an open plan living area with comfy sofas, satellite tv and an insert wood burning fire, and a dining table for eight people.  The well equipped kitchen has eveything all you would expect and wish for, including double quantity of crockery, cutlery etc for all guests.

Three steps down from the living area leads to the outside terrace with bbq, shaded by walnut, mulberrry and fig trees.

A covered terrace to the front of the gite is ideal for outdoor eating if the weather is inclement.
