Welcome to our B&B in Orkney
Foinhaven offers friendly Bed & Breakfast and self-catering accommodation in a modern, spacious house with spectacular views across Kirbister Loch and Waulkmill Bay, on the edge of Scapa Flow. Surrounded by unspoilt farmland, Foinhaven's elevated position offers beautiful views and an ideal touring base, being close to bird reserves, sheltered sandy beaches, viking settlements and a picturesque loch.
Our Orkney Accommodation
Within our B&B there are two family/twin rooms are available, each consisting of a double and single bed and full en suite facilities. Each room also has a colour television - although we doubt you'll use it much, such is the variety of things to do whilst in Orkney! There are lovely unspoilt views across open countryside from your bedroom window.
Guests are also welcome to relax in the spacious lounge, again enjoying stunning views across the fields, Kirbister loch and Waulkmill Bay - Orkney's best sheltered beach, and recently voted one of Scotland's top ten beaches!
Self Catering Apartments
Three brand new self-catering apartments are now available for rent - all finished to the highest standards - please enquire for rates.
Northern Lights - 1 bedroom, with a double and a single
Scapa View - 2 bedrooms, with a double and 2 singles
Wideford Hill View - 3 bedrooms, two with a double, and one with two 2 singles.
Each apartment has a large open plan kitchen/dining/sitting room and spectacular views over open countryside
Our Orkney Location
Our B&B is conveniently situated between Kirkwall and Stromness in Orkney and has village amenities such as a pub, post office and school and community centre. It is perfectly situated for an active holiday, being convenient to many natural and historic attractions such as Kirbister Loch, Scapa Flow, Hobbister Bird Reserve etc.
