Welcome to our Luxury Holiday Home in the Scottish Borders

Glebe House is a luxury 4 bedroom holiday house offering the highest standard yet unpretentious self catering accommodation, sleeping up to 10 people.(+2); set in manicured gardens on the banks of the Kale Water (close to famous salmon fishing river Tweed.) Recreation straight from the front door - just put on your boots and walk or bike!

Our house has four bedrooms, 3.5 bath/shower rooms, a 10 meter long drawing room with book and game lined shelves and a glorious open log fireplace, dining room with log fire seating 14 with china & glassware to suit, modern kitchen and utility areas. Large garden with lawns, summer houses, barbecue, a stream and level parking areas. Everywhere is spacious. Centrally heated throughout and open log/coal fires. Suitable for the ambulant disabled. Sat TV & WiFi Broadband.

Outdoor storage, wash down area, gun cabinet etc for sportsmen and women.

Our Scottish Borders Location

Our house is set among the rolling Cheviot Hills on the edge of the tiny village of Hownam in the Scottish Borders. Located very close to the Dere Street and St Cuthbert’s Way, our holiday home is a hill walker’s paradise. There are trails for mountain biking; Roman ruins for exploring; rivers & lochs for fishing; nature for enjoying and; wide open spaces for getting away from it all; not to mention the historic Border Abbey towns of Kelso, Melrose and Jedburgh within 9 miles, each with numerous attractions, shopping, pubs, restaurants..
