Greycotes is the perfect holiday cottage for those looking to rent self catering holiday accommodation in Ambleside, the heart of the English Lake District national park. The property is spacious, comfortably furnished with original wooden and slate floors. It is ideal for family get togethers, family holidays, groups of friends, couples or a romantic break and is pet freindly. There is free wireless broadband internet access and gas fired central heating is provided throughout. The ground floor comprises of a large open planned lounge/dining room which is a great venue for a family meal as this room commands the best views over the fells and has access to the garden. It has a local slate fireplace with electric fire, tv with digital free view and DVD. The dining kitchen also has stunning views looking down onto Ambleside with glimpses of Lake Windermere in the distance and again has access to the garden. The snug has a wood burning stove and original slate floor with TV/dvd , perfect for creating a warm, cosy atmosphere.
The first floor has a bathroom with a power shower over the bath, wash basin and WC. Bedroom one is a twin room. Bedroom two has a double bed. The second floor comprises of bedroom three with a large king size bed with wash basin and lovely views towards the Ambleside fell ranges. Bedroom four also has a large king size bed with useful wash basin and lovely views across Ambleside.

Situated in the heart of the Lake District National Park at the head of Lake Windermere, Ambleside is a year round holiday destination surrounded by beautiful lakes and mountain ranges. Greycotes is just a 5 minute walk into Ambleside, yet is tucked away off Sweden Bridge Lane, so it is out of the hustle and bustle, very private and very peaceful....everyone who has stayed has said the location is fantastic.....why not find out for yourself.
