Grisedale Lodge Bed and Breakfast, Glenridding Patterdale B&B

Grisedale Lodge is a lovely traditional Lakeland house which dates back to Victorian times. Our idyllic location, close to the southern shores of Ullswater lake and at the heart of the Lake District, means you can enjoy the peace and quiet, whilst surrounded by inspiring views of the Lake District scenery.

Our B&B is located in a small community of houses at Grisedale Bridge, midway between Glenridding and Patterdale.  Both villages are within walking distance and offer shops, pubs, cafes, a National Park information centre, petrol station and garage and medical centre.

Grisedale Lodge has been lovingly refurbished and offers you comfortable bed and breakfast, whether you're planning to climb Helvellyn and Striding Edge or enjoy some of the lovely valley walks, attend a wedding at the Inn on the Lake, have a few days' peace and relaxation or you're part way through your Coast to Coast adventure from St Bees to Robin Hoods Bay.  

At Grisedale Lodge  B&B you have the choice of bed and breakfast in 3 comfortable double or twin rooms. Two of our rooms have en-suite shower rooms and one of the double rooms has an en-suite toilet and private use of a large bathroom with bath and shower.  Our guest lounge is on the first floor and has wonderful views over our garden and towards Place Fell.  There are plenty of books, magazines and maps about the local area for you to use and enjoy and, if you want ideas about what to do, we're more than happy to help.
