Grove Cottage Self Catering Hartsop Lake District, Patterdale holiday cottage

Set in some of the best walking country in the heart of the Lake District National Park, Grove Cottage is a cosy holiday bolthole in a stunning location. The cottage is located in Hartsop, close to Brotherswater, to the south of Patterdale, Ullswater and Glenridding.

The cottage is attached to the owner's home (please note this property is under seperate ownership to Willow Cottage) and has its own entrance from the walled front garden, through a glazed door set in a large bay window. 

On the ground floor there is an open plan living/dining room with a kitchen in the corner. The kitchen is equipped with a 4-ring cooker, microwave and fridge/freezer. Guests also have access to a washing machine and dryer housed in an annex shared with the owner. The living room has a two-seater sofa and armchair from which to relax and enjoy the views of the fells through the large glazed bay window. The ground floor is heated via a night-store heater plus and electric "woodburner-style" stove. There is a widescreen TV with satellite reception (Freesat) plus a CD player and radio.

Narrow open-tread stairs lead up to a spacious double bedroom with views across the village to the east. The room contains a 4ft6 double bed and a single bed and is furnished with a mixture of antique and modern pine.There is a night-store heater plus an electric blanket for cold winter nights.

The newly refitted (2012) en-suite bathroom has limestone effect tiles with a white suite with bath (taps have shower attachment), wc, basin and heated chrome towel rail

The garden immediately outside the cottage has magnificent views of Hartsop Dodd and the surrounding fells plus abundant birdlife. Garden furniture (including sun-loungers) is provided.

The owner accepts one small well behaved dog in this property.
