A cosy little private cottage on a 2,5 acres farm on a hill. The owners live in the farmhouse. They keep geese, chicken and ponies and would love to welcome you. The cottage is located in the countryside just outside L'ile Bouchard.
The cottage is situated a bit higher on the hill side and a limestone wall and small gate seperates the cottage from the farmhouse. The cottage has its own entry gate, a large patio and furnished, covered terrace which offers shade in the summer. Behind the gate you may unload your luggage after which your car can be parked safely a little higher on the premises. The cottage has a private entry and 3 rooms on the ground floor. The first room you enter is a living room with kitchen corner and a large wood burner. The second room is a bedroom with double bed and bathroom ensuite. The third room has two single beds and a second exit to the patio.
The location is in the far South corner of the Region Centre, Loire Valley. From here you can easily reach the Limosin area to the South or the Pays the Loire to the West. Shortly up North you find Chinon, Richelieu, Azay-le-Rideau, Rivau, Bourgeuil, Usse, Tours, Villandry and Amboise. You may make daytrips to the most beautiful castles, gardens and cathedrals of the Loire Valley.
