An adult only luxury B&B with stunning views of the Yorkshire Dales Three Peaks in a peaceful location. We are ideally situated for exploring the Yorkshire Dales, Forest of Bowland and Southern Lake District. Close to the market towns of Bentham and Ingleton (visit the White Scar show cave, Ingleton Waterfalls and the famous Ribblehead viaduct) The pretty village of Clapham with its caves and walks. Settle is 7 miles away for the Settle to Carlisle railway one of the most scenic in the country. And if that is not enough we are in the heart of walking country with a number of on and off road cycle routes close by (we are on NCR69 and The Way of the Roses).
Halsteads Barn was originally a livestock barn which has been sympathetically extended using a derelict hay barn to provide our guests with spacious accommodation including a large guest lounge with log burner for those chillier nights. A snug with underfloor heating and board games, a reading gallery with reclining couch and a spacious dinning room.
We have 3 individually designed bedrooms which are all en-suite with power showers all with double beds, lcd tv with Freeview, dvd player, bathrobes, slippers, hairdryer and tea tray. Our 6 person outdoor hot tub (available all year) relaxes those weary muscles after a day exploring or just chill with a glass of what you fancy from our extensive wine and drinks list. In the Summer months listen to the multitude of birds that reside on the moor and watch the sun go down. In the Winter months see how many shooting stars you can count (there is no light pollution at the barn).
Evening meals are available but need to be booked in advance. Our four course evening meal (including cheese board) is made with locally sourced produce and meat from local farms - all home cooked in the AGA. A full Yorkshire breakfast is included using eggs from our own hens to set you up for the day.
