The ski lift is only a 5-minute walk from Haus Patricia or there is a small ski bus that passes the house. 80 km cross-country ski trails with 6km of high altitude tracks in the Lofer Alm where the snow is practically guaranteed accessible via the cable car.There are also natural ice-skating rinks, ice curling, and toboggan runs. For a romantic treat take a Sleigh ride across the beautiful snowy landscape.
In the Summer we offer a free summercard offering the mountain lift, indoor and outdoor swimming pools and Gorge walks all free.
Hiking in the Salzburger mountains is an experience all of it's own, you will find that most of the walks start directly at your front door. There are 80Km of walking paths, with a further 300km of scenic hiking tracks for either a leisurely stroll or an ambitious climb with FREE cable car pass to the higher trails
There are 480km of cycle and Mountain bike tracks. Whether you are a leisurely relaxed cyclist or an extremely fit mountain biker, you will feel at ease on the well-marked traffic free routes. The higher rides can be reached with the FREE cable car. Quality hire bikes are locally available.
Canoeing and white water rafting in the challenging Saalach River is a real hair-raiser. Lofer hosted the 1998 white water canoeing world championships.
