Our house is on the ground floor with an attic bedroom with 3 velux windows with double bed. There is an open slat pine stair to the attic.bedroom which also stores a travel cot. An extra full size adult single bed for parent/child etc. in recess off sitting room - with privacy curtain..The is also a bed settee in the sitting room - and a Z bed in the attic room - with bedding for all, The sleeping arrangements are ideal for couples with elderly relative or 1 or 2 children. Private Patio small garden with 3 steps to rear door. Dining table ,chairs and parasol. Field next to property for emergency dog walks
You can Google on Craigdhu Road. Milngavie. Located on edge of the village this 1 bedroom terraced house will provide guests with a comfortable, clean and modern uniquely located base to enjoy town and country , local shops, bars and restaurants and areas further afield. The village has an Asda, little shops, coffee shops and pub serving good food and you can walk there in 10mins max. Also close is the Burnbrae Hotel and West Highland Gate for good food - also 5-10mins walk from the house. You are no more than 30-40mins drive to Callander Village, Stirling "Town", Perth, Loch Lomond & the Trossachs National Park (Aberfoyle) the land of fairies and mythology. At Aberfoyle is the David Marshall Lodge - where there is a "Go Ape" experience and a coffee shop, visitors centre and picnic area.
You will enjoy attractions in Glasgow itself. The city is stunning around the river especially. Alea is a casino where you can book a lovely meal (set menu £20.00 3 course and a glass of wine) while overlooking the Clyde and the bridges - lovely in the evening the bars are open till 4am!! You also have the beautiful Botanical Gardens, Kelvingrove Art Gallery and Museum, Princes Square, Buchanan Galleries shopping centre The Mackintosh House, Merchant Square, The Burrell Collection (a lovely venue and 2 eating places), The new Museum of Transport and the Scottish Exhibition and Conference Centre (SECC) for concerts etc. also a huge fabulous shopping mall at Silverburn. There is a fun complex at the Glasgow Quay - Clydeside - 20 mins drive from the house - this houses a Casino with free entrance with a stunning restaurant overlooking the river and bridges - magnificent for an romantic evening meal. Other attractions are various famous restaurants, cinema, bowling and river side pubs. You have Peoples Palace and Winter Tropical Gardens and the new german Brewary called west, where you can eat in or out - You can take your dog inside this restaurant. You will love it! Braehead Shopping Centre runs a river bus in the summer and that is pay as you go. The river bus passes all the old and new ship building yards in Glasgow's history. The tall ship at Clydeside and The Science Centre both 30mins drive. You are also not more than an hours drive to Troon ferry to Larne and a bit further Caladonian McBryne to the Islands. The Weather is always changeable and classically dryish and sunny June, July , August, September Temp between 15-25c and maybe all on the one day!

The little village of Luss - from (Take the High Road) is just a few miles from Balloch. a must to visit is robert burns cottage and visitors centre 44 miles 1 hr drive Birthplace Museum of Robert Burns the Museum offers a truly unique encounter with Scotland’s favourite son. The museum comprises the famous Burns Cottage where the poet was born, the historic landmarks where he set his greatest work, the elegant monument and gardens created in his honour and a modern museum housing the world’s most important collection of his life and works.
Also 1hr drive is inveraray on the shore of loch fyne - magnificent.
Braehead Shopping Centre runs a river bus in the summer and that is pay as you go. The river bus passes all the old and new ship building yards in Glasgow's history. Thetall ship at Clydeside and The science centre are both 30mins drive from the house. Scottish historical sites in Stirling include stirling castle and wallace monument - if you can climb the many stairs – worth it in every way from there you can view the Battlesite of the Battle O’ Bannockburn. Both on the edge of the town and also the old town jail visitors centre also 30 mins drive from the house. You are also not more than an hours drive to Troon ferry to Larne and a bit further Caledonian McBryne to the Islands.
