Welcome to Henllys Lodge

Our prices remain the same as 2012! Available for weekly lets or short breaks 3 nights or more (out of peak season), Henllys Lodge is a detached house approximately two miles from Llandovery, a small market town with all amenities. It has been rebuilt and furnished to a high standard, achieving a 5 star rating from Visit Wales, 'Walkers and Cyclists Welcome' and gold green Tourism Award. It has four bedrooms: three double rooms, two of which have ensuite wetrooms, and a room with full-sized single bunk beds. There is a separate bathroom for the two bedrooms which do not have the ensuite wetroom and for those who prefer baths. 

The ground floor is open plan. There is a matted lobby entrance where coats and boots can be left. The large kitchen/dining room has all modern energy efficient appliances, such as Rangemaster cooker with two ovens, fridge-freezer, dishwasher, microwave, washing machine and condenser drier, and all the cooking equipment and utensils you will need. There is a downstairs WC. The living room has in its centre a double-sided wood-burning stove which is cosy and comfortable in the colder months. There is a new 40" led television which has freeview channels, a dvd player with a selection of DVD's, a CD player with I-pod dock, table football, a large selection of games and puzzles, books including guides of the area and daylight lamps for reading. There is wifi internet access in the property.

The kitchen opens out onto a slate patio area with garden furniture and barbecue. There are flower beds planted with native plants flowering at different times of the year and a lawn leading down to a pond, teeming with wildlife including fish, frogs, newts, water lilies, etc. Fill up the bird feeder to watch all sorts of birds, including nuthatches and woodpeckers. Red kites and buzzards soar overhead.

There is parking for 3 cars and a locked shed to accommodate bicycles. 

On arrival there is a meet and greet service and awaiting you will be a Welcome basket of organic and/or local foods.
