Welcome to High Greenrigg House 5 star self catering holiday cottages in the Lake District. Our cottages are located near Caldbeck in Cumbria, in a beautiful elevated position with glorious scenery, within the Northern Fells of the Lake District National Park.
Greenrigg House was originally a 17th Century hill farm, which is now a listed building, and it has been tastefully converted to form three unique and beautifully crafted 5 star Lake District cottages.
High Pike Cottage offers luxurious five star holiday cottage accommodation for 3 people in 2 en-suite bedrooms. On the ground floor there is an entrance Hall with utility room containing small belfast sink, automatic washing machine and tumble drier. Opposite is a cupboard containing a freezer. The Hall leads to lofty sun area with large glazed door (in what was the original barn door), containing a sofa and two chairs and leading out to the garden. The door opens into double bedroom with attractive co-ordinating fabrics and en-suite bathroom with period style hand held shower over the bath. The bathroom is rather striking with stylish large tiles and wooden planked floor.
There are stairs leading to first floor – through doors into the dining/living room, with kitchen separated by oak divider festooned with dried grasses and flowers. There is a living flame gas stove. The kitchen also has a wooden planked floor. Along a beamed passage with wooden planked floor to second bedroom containing King Size four poster bed and fabrics which co-ordinate with some pretty accessories and personal touches. There is a custom made wardrobe which incorporates a T.V. A trouser press is also in the bedroom. The en-suite shower room has a larger than average shower with wooden planked floor.

· Sink with double bowl ceramic sink and co-ordinating tiled worktops.

Facilities available to all 3 of our Lake District cottages:-
· Large garden with garden furniture.
· Ample parking.
· All linen and towels are provided. Electricity, Gas and Central Heating included in the rent (apart from laundry facilities).
· Welcome pack including a bottle of wine together with homemade cake/biscuits, tea and milk are waiting to refresh you after your journey.
Please note that our Lake District cottages are strictly non-smoking, and we regret that no children under the age of eight years of age are allowed in the cottages. One dog is also welcome at High Pike cottage.
The surrounding countryside is there to explore. On a fine day the views towards the Caldbeck Fells and Scotland are simply breathtaking. The walks from the cottages are wonderful and varied. The pace of life hasn’t changed since the farm was built. The self catering cottages are ideally located close to Carlisle, Cockermouth, Keswick, and Penrith, with easy access from the M6.
