This attractive 1st and 2nd floor apartment is situated in the centre of the historic village of Fortrose. Chanonry Point with its lighthouse is well known as a viewing point for the Moray Firth dolphins which can often be seen close to shore or you may choose to go on a boat trip to see a variety of wild life. The Golf Course is also located on Chanonry Point. There is Pony Trekking and Quad bikes at Broomhill Farm, 1 mile away. There are many lovely walks.
In the apartment is a wide selection of leaflets about local attractions and a comprehensive information pack so you can make the most of your holiday. Or just take it easy and stroll along the beach to the lighthouse.
The apartment is very nicely decorated and furnished and very clean. There is a comfortable lounge with Free view TV and DVD; two double bedrooms; modern kitchen; shower room with large size shower cubicle.
Walking distance to Restaurants, Tavern, Shops, Harbour, Beach and Chanonry Point.
The Scottish Highlands are amazingly beautiful. We have Mountains, Lochs, Beaches and a wide variety of outdoor pursuits. Fortrose is well placed as a base for sight seeing.
Inverness, the capital city of the Highlands, offers Shopping, Cinemas, Theatre, Museum; Art Gallery; 10 Pin Bowling, Golf Ranges, Parks, Ice Rink, Leisure Centre, Leisure Pool and Climbing Wall; great Night Life.
There are some unique and amazing places to visit such as Urquhart Castle on the shores of Loch Ness; Kincraig Wildlife park with its polar bear and tigers; the Cairngorms National Park where you can go to the top of the mountains on the Funicular Railway; Landmark Forest Play Park is a great day out for the kids; Culloden Battle field and Visitor Centre; Fort George military museum; Cawdor and Brodie Castles and Dunrobin with its birds of prey. Strathpeffer Museum of Childhood. All these places are less than 50 minutes drive away.
Golfers have plenty of choice of excellent courses such as Royal Dornoch, Inverness, Rosemarkie, Tain, Strathpeffer etc.
