Set in one of the most tranquil valleys in the lake district. Hillside Cottage has everything you could want from a holiday cottage. It comfortably sleeps 6 people with one double room and two twin rooms. The lounge has a beautiful furnishings and a woodburning stove, stripped floor boards a flat screen TV and DVD player. This leads into the kitchen which has all the modern appliances you could need.
Eskdale is a stunning Valley surrounded by fells and rivers, which offer some breathtaking walks of all grades. You can even start the climb of England’s highest peak (Scafell Pike) straight from your doorstep.
You have 5 pubs in the valley the nearest being a 15min walk and the village shop is only around the corner.
The famous Eskdale-Ravenglass miniature railway runs through the valley and will take you on a leisurely 7 mile journey to the coast
The beds will be made up for you but you need to remember to bring your own towels. Electricity and heating are included in the price.
Hillside is also a pet friendly holiday cottage.
