Welcome to our self catering Gite in the Hautes Pyrenees, France
Our gîte has been designed ‘Just for 2’ and there are no other holiday properties here to spoil your holiday.
We know you will enjoy a peaceful stay in this rural location.
The self contained converted barn, part of an old farmhouse, is situated in a quiet, traffic free, secluded rural area, yet close to all amenities of Trie sur Baïse.
This comfortable double glazed gîte is fully equipped and is ideal for 2 people, but a third person can be accommodated. The large 20m² lounge with it’s comfy chairs, dining table and balcony, is equipped with Satellite widescreen tv, dvd/video, hi-fi and offers complete relaxation. Wi-Fi Internet access is also available. There is a protective fly screen at the window. Central heating is provided (at cost) on those ‘not so warm’ days in spring and autumn.
The large mature shady 1¼ acre garden offers beautiful views over the countryside, with the Pyrénées in the distance.The swimming pool (0.90/1.3m) and gardens are shared with the owners, who live on the premises.
BBQ and garden furniture are provided.
Our Location
Our gite is located in Fontrailles, a small commune, is near Trie sur Baise in the Hautes Pyrenées department. Our nearest large town is Tarbes.
The full range of the High Pyrenees is within a short drive. Spain is only 75 minutes away and with the local ‘bastide’ towns, Lourdes and the many attractions in the area, there is always something to do. Toulouse, Bordeaux and the Atlantic coast are easily accessible for day trips.
