Welcome to L'Orchidee Brocante
The Holiday Accommodation itself is joined to a Tea Room/Antiques Store that our family has been running for around 5 years now.
Our house is surrounded by a beautifull garden, in the centre of an old medieval village, close to all amenities, in the regional natural park of Perigord Limousin. There are around 25 different species of orchids growing around the village.
The Property has an outdoor patio and dining area for our guests to use, and everything we cook is from Local stores and from the vegetable garden we have. We also own several of our own chickens.
We at L'Orchidee a big Orchid collectors, and have a large collection of different species at the house.
The lovely village of St Pardoux is near Brantome (The Venice of the Perigord ) , Villars (the blue horse's cave) , Puyguilhem (1st renaissance castle in dordogne) and St Jean de Cole (one of the most beautifful village of france), so there are plenty of places nearby to visit.
The 26th of July offers huge celebrations in the area for "The Spardos", which is a big festival of St Pardoux la Riviere and which takes host of all sorts of Open Markets and Local Produce throughout the evening.
The Green Perigold, with its National Park Status in Perigold Limousin, offers a luxury panorama of verdant greenery and huge, plunging valleys in a region crossed by a myriad of rivers and streams.
