Welcome to our self catering Cottage in France
La glycine is the perfect holiday home for families, couples, retirees or friends. Set in a huge garden with a boules pitch, swings, swing seat, and other games it offers a tranquil retreat to re-charge frazzled 21st Century batteries.The gite has a large open plan living area with a large comfy sofa, armchair, coffee table, wood burner, sound system and TV with Sat free to view UK programmes, a large collection of films on dvd to chose from and high speed internet access (not wifi) . The kitchen is fully equipped with electric cooker, microwave, fridge freezer, washing machine, pots and pans, ample crockery, cutlery and glassware. The table seats six.
The twin room has its own bathroom and plenty of space for either a cot or extra folding bed. The master bedroom is upstairs on a mezzanine floor of what was the loft with plenty of exposed oak beams and an ensuite shower room. La glycine has oodles of character, exposed stone walls and a lovely atmosphere to enjoy your holiday in.

The area here has so much to offer, swimming lakes, forests, horse-riding, fishing, canoeing, and in under an hour you can be on the golden beaches of La baule or Pornichet, exploring the wonderful rugged coast of the Cote sauvage, exploring Rennes' medaeval heart, Nantes' newly renovated castle and wonderful mechanical elephant, the beautiful city of Vannes and the Golf du Morbihan and sampling the wines in the Muscadet vineyards. A week is just not enough time - better book two.
