Situated on a hill and set in 100 acres of land, La Haille Gîtes offers an oasis of tranquil, unrivalled seclusion, peace and privacy in a rural location along with an abundance of flora and fauna. Close to Simorre (4 km) a village with all amenities, daily lively markets and the nearby leisure facilities of the lakes at Saramon and Samatan, we are in easy access of Blagnac airport, Toulouse, the Pyrénées mountains, Spain, tax free Andorra and pilgrimages to the shrine of St. Bernadette in Lourdes. Auch, the principal city of the Gers, is where you will find varied activities including a paint ball and quad park, day and evening markets, many varied shops, bars, restaurants all situated alongside museums, cathedrals and even d'Artagnan, the fourth musketeer from 'The Three Musketeers', thus mixing old and new with historic Gascon culture and architecture.
'Picardie' a 'tourelle', (little tower), is a three storey South facing gite ideal for a couple, two or three people if the lounge is used as a second bedroom. The ground floor comprises of a hall leading to the large and airy kitchen, which is equipped with a table and four chairs, one comfortable chair, fridge/freezer, a microwave, a gas oven with four gas rings, gas kettle, electric coffee machine, hand whisk/blender, cutlery, crockery and pans etc. The bathroom is also situated on the ground floor and has a bath/shower, toilet and basin. The lounge is on the first floor, complete with two sofas for your comfort and also French television, English satellite television, a video player along with a few videos, a radio/cassette/CD player and selection of books. The bedroom is on the top floor with a ceiling fan, a double bed, a comfortable chair and stunning views of the Pyrénées mountains. This is also a good vantage point from which to watch the varied and abundant wildlife. Picardie is fully centrally heated with thermostat controls for Winter lets and a fan provided for Summer lets. There is also the use of two separate barbecue areas, floodlit salt water swimming pool with solar shower, laundry room, games room, bicycle and mountainboard hire, archery and wireless adsl internet access. The owners are both certified Initiateurs, licenced with the ffct (Fédération Française de Cyclotourisme), both hold PSC1 (Premier Secours Civiques de Niveau 1) certificates, and are always more than happy to accompany or guide you on your outing whatever your cycling experience may be. We do not charge to guide.

'Le Castelet' - a three storey apartment with air conditioning and private balcony. One and two night rental any time of the year, as well as the usual weekly rental. Flexible start, finish and duration of your stay possible to suit your travel plans.
'Sunnycroft' - a bungalow style apartment with two separate bedrooms, ideal for a family with children or for those who have difficulty with stairs. Minimum rental of three nights.
