If you’re tired of hotels our luxury bed and breakfast offers the perfect alternative. An 18th century stone longère which has been beautifully but sympathetically restored to offer luxury accommodation with all home comforts thus providing an ideal base from which to explore all that this beautiful area has to offer. With heated swimming pool and Jacuzzi, La Longère also offers guests an ideal retreat, a perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life – a perfect place to relax and unwind.
Our Luxury Bed and Breakfast Facilities
La Longère has three large individually designed bedrooms with vaulted ceilings and exposed beams all offering uninterrupted views over the pool and open countryside. Guests can opt for a large super-king sized double bed (6ft wide) or a twin bedded arrangement. Crisp, white Egyptian cotton bed linen and plump pillows ensure a relaxing, comfortable sleep whilst TVs in each room together with DVD players (complimentary DVD library) and tea/coffee making facilities also allow guests the opportunity to relax in their own private space. Each room has its own superb en-suite facilities with soft white towels, bath robes, hairdryers and complimentary 'welcome' toiletries (separate pool towels are also provided). Free WI-FI internet access is available throughout the house.
La Longère benefits from a secluded position sitting in an acre of unspoilt countryside just 5 mins drive from the local town of Languidic. A large private courtyard entrance provides ample private parking space and the large private garden at the rear of the property is surrounded by beautiful countryside offering a peaceful location and an ideal retreat - the perfect place to relax and unwind after a busy day exploring!
Breakfast at La Longère will set you up for the day! We offer a generous breakfast - croissants, toast, preserves, home made muffins, yoghurts, choice of cereals, fresh seasonal fruit, freshly squeezed orange juice, tea, fresh ground coffee plus much more!

La Longère isn’t only for summer – it’s a lovely place to visit out of season. Enjoy exploring the area, perhaps a coastal or rural walk, a shopping trip to nearby Vannes then return to a crackling log fire where you can snuggle up and enjoy a truly warm, homely atmosphere or relax by the pool (May - Sept) and enjoy a Jacuzzi (all year round). La Longère is also ideally located for guests to explore the beautiful sandy beaches, as well as the countryside and historic towns of southern Brittany such as Vannes, Auray, Lorient, Hennebont, Carnac, Quiberon, Pont-Aven and many more. For the golfer we are within easy reach of several good golf courses including St Laurent, Val Queven, Baden, and Ploermeur Ocean. Groups are welcome and will obviously benefit from exclusive use of the property and facilities. Surfing, sailing, kayaking, fishing, cycling, and horse riding are all available in this region.
