Situated within 50 acres of peaceful French countryside on the edge of the Scevolles forest le retreat is an elegant 13C manoir with stylishly converted dependencies. These have recently been renovated to provide comfort and design while retaining traditional features and character. The furnishings are a mixture of antique, retro and modern, depending on the building, and all the bed linen is Egyptian cotton or organic. There is a large communal saltwater pool (11m x 5.5m), an exercise room with infra-red sauna, treadmill, cross-trainer, weights machine and powerplate, and a blue-ray cinema room suitable for films, presentations, and Wii fun. There is a large dvd library and a collection of books for guests to enjoy. There is free wifi access in the grand salon. We provide new but basic bikes for guests to use and there is a boules pitch and games such a badminton, rounders etc and a bbq available. Overall it has accommodation for up to 16 people in 8 bedrooms & 2 sofa beds. Not suitable for young children.
Most amenities, such as boulangerie, bank, pharmacy, tabac/bar, small supermarket, post office and a local restaurant nearby. Richelieu 15 minutes.
