Whether your stay is for 1 night, or more you will find La Platriere the perfect place to relax and unwind. Located in the north of the Allier and close to the Forest of Troncais, La Platriere is near the borders of Cher in Centre and the Nievre in Burgundy, so there is a diversity of things to see and do.

A great deal of thought has gone into making your accommodation practical and comfortable. The owners have tastefully converted and renovated an old farmhouse into a stunning property with character and beauty. All the bedrooms are light and airy, the double rooms and family room have queen-size beds, and all the rooms offer suberb views of the gardens and countryside beyond. Each room has hospitality trays and ensuite bathrooms with shower, vanity units, wash basin and wc. Some of the rooms have bourbonnais (regional) beamwork. The house has central heating, so whatever time of year you will be nice and warm. During the cooler months, the open log fire in the guest lounge is lit, so you can relax and whileaway the evening in comfort. Continental breakfast is served, and included in the price, or if you wish you can order a full=english breakfast for a small supplement of 8 euros. Evening meals are available with advance notice.
