Welcome to our Bed and Breakfast in Normandy, France
Le Clos Castel was originally a working Normandy Farm. The house has been tenderly restored to it's full potential. A warm welcome always awaits, all are rooms are en-suite and have tea & coffee making facilities and we will always do our upmost to make your stay as comfortable as possible.
We can provide an evening meal or snack by arrangement.
Families are also welcome as are well behaved pets.
Our Normandy Location
We are ideally based only being 45 minutes from Cherbourg and 60 minutes from Caen. Le Clos Castel is in a great position close to Carentan if you wish to explore the D-Day landing beaches or museums but also if you wish to discover the stunning area of Normandy not forgetting the historic cities of Bayeaux and Caen.
The stunning beauty of the region's interior, with its thatched cottages, traditional farming and ever-changing landscapes, is matched by a long coastline which stretches from the wild windswept scenery and dramatic cliffs around La Hague to the low-lying coast facing Mont Saint Michel; from the pretty Saire Valley and its lush slopes to the little town of Mortain, the Cotentin Peninsula offers visitors a wide variety of landscapes.
