We can offer you the opportunity to discover this hidden corner of France, only 30 minutes from the Mediterranean and 45 minutes from Spain. If you don’t get seduced by the calm and tranquility beside our large private swimming pool, you will be able to discover the delights of the mediaeval walled city of Carcassonne, the Cathar fortress of Minerve and all of the hilltop refuges of the Cathars. Not to mention that this area is the world’s largest wine producing region (bigger than all of Australia’s vineyards combined) Come in Spring, Fall or Winter and there will be plenty for you to enjoy.

Situated in an air-conditioned, renovated ‘Maison Vigneron’, this stylish and tranquil Gîte de Charme borders a substantial garden with large swimming pool. Overlooking vast vineyards, it is located on the edge of an old, tranquil, ramparted village.
With stunning views over the vines and the garrigue, it is the ideal spot to escape and recharge your batteries or, should the urge take you, to use as a base for discovering the hidden charms of this beautiful region of France.

Comfortable and relaxed, the bedrooms all contribute to the restful qualities of this perfect home from home. With a spacious en suite bathroom and individually controlled air conditioning, guests have been known to sleep until midday and beyond!

You are invited to make full use of the large landscaped garden with its covered terrace and private swimming pool. Your hosts will welcome you whole heartedly and help you to explore in a manner that best suits you.

An ideal base for those exploring the area by car, on bicycles (which are available from the owner) - or even on foot. The World Heritage site of the Canal du Midi is five minutes away, thus allowing you to combine a stay here with a trip on the canal, or the glorious Mediterranean with its fantastic beaches are only 30 minutes away.
