Our Bed and Breakfast sits in an area of outstanding natural beauty and is a veritable heaven for walkers. Within easy reach of many attractions and beaches, this is an ideal location in which to explore the beautiful surrounding area of the Brittany region.
We are situated in the south of Brittany between Rennes and Nantes, close to Redon and St Gildas des Bois, 30 minutes from the sea with beautiful sand beaches.
Our Bed & Breakfast Features and Accommodation
Our rooms are well appointed and have private en-suites with complimentary toiletries, wireless broadband and TV/DVDs. Our emphasis is on comfort, individual service and attention to detail making your stay with us special.
Our guest house rooms are modestly decorated for that homey feel, with tiled floors and windows that really catch the sun.

Le Cougou Bed and Breakfast is perfectly situated for exploring the rest of Brittany and the West coast of France. It is centrally located between the coastline and the major road links and so guests have the easiest of access to many of Brittany’s attractions.
Guest don’t have to look far for quality French cuisine, just across the road from the B&B is the fine 'Restaurateurs de France' Restaurant 'Le Paradis des Pêcheurs' where lunch is served everyday (except Wednesdays) and dinner at week-ends. It can get busy however so advanced booking is advised.
We are 30 minutes from the famous Pénestin beach past Roche Bernard and 40 minutes from La Baule which boasts the most beautiful bay and longest sand beach in Europe. Just 7 minutes’ walk from the guest house will take you to the Brest-Nantes Waterway. In Guenrouët there is a port and leisure centre with outdoor swimming pool. If you are a golfer then there is Chateau de la Bretesche with its high quality golf course just 15 minutes away. There are also woodland walks with many walks to choose from, a haven for nature lovers and bird watchers. Angling is available nearby as well as a selection of water sports available at the beautiful coast. There is tennis available right on the doorstop and because of the rural location it is absolutely perfect for nature walks and cycling.
