Located in the old centre of Prades, Pyrenees Orientales, Le Lézard offers you privacy with all the facilities of a small town within easy walking distance. It's stunning roof terrace overlooking Mount Canigou to the south will entice you from early morning to late night. The fabulous Tuesday market, numerous restaurants all within walking distance, the market square, and the panoramic views of the Pyrenees and surrounding hills are stunning.

Prades is a small town with a village feel. The population is c. 6,000 and everything is within walking distance of the house. Locally there is a great park for kids, an outdoor swimming pool, and a variety of sports facilities. Within 15 minutes there is a great lake with beach, cafe and lifeguard service (in high season). Both the coast and the ski resorts of the Pyrenees are 50 minutes drive from Prades and the area is littered with fantastic walking trails. For the really keen, there Mount Canigou to walk up! For the less hardy, you can take a 4 x 4 up all but the last hour or so (but don't tell anyone!).

Prades is a small town c. 40 minutes inland from Perpignan in the South of France. Quiet and peaceful..yet it's got everything except masses of tourists. It's an area to fall in love with and ouzes charm and appeal.
