Welcome to our Bed & Breakfast Chambre d'hotes in Charente Maritime region
Our B&B is a charming restored water mill with pool and large garden. We have five ensuite bedrooms with large separate guest sitting room with leather sofas and chairs, bar, digital cinema, and library tastefully decorated with many artefacts from the old mill including working water-wheel, mill stone etc.
Outside the two acre garden includes waterfalls and cascades which provide a very relaxing environment.
Our Charente Maritime location
Our B&B is located in the small village of Annepont in the Charente Maritime region of France. Anneport is only a few kilometes from the A10 Paris to Bordeaux autoroute. The region is only 5 hours drive from Paris and Spain. Annepont is on the border of Cognac country and just 35 mins from Cognac. Home to Martell, Hennessy, Courvoisier, Remy Martin, and many others too numerous to name, Cognac is well worth a visit. The historic seaport of La Rochelle, just 45 minutes drive away. This old town with its arcaded shopping streets, its fabulous market, and the seaport with yacht harbour lined by seafood restaurants and bars is a real sight to enjoy.
