Le Moulin de Cornusson Self Catering Gite with Pool Pyrenees, Caylus Holiday home

le Moulin de Cornusson was built originally to supply le Chateau de Cornusson with water and flour. The Mill is built of local stone and is set in a beautiful valley of seven acres of parkland and meadows bordered by the river Seye. 

Accommodation

On the first floor are arranged three bedrooms,
Bedroom 1 Is arranged as 1 double bed, 1 single and a childs bed and cot or 1 double bed,2 single beds and a cot,with en-suite bathroom including bath with shower attachment, w/c and handbasin.
Bedroom 2 Has 1 Double bed and 1 single or childs bed with en-suite facilities including bath with shower attachment,w/c and handbasin.
Bedroom 3 has 3 single beds and a full sized bunk bed, bathroom facilities and seperate toilet for this room are located on the ground floor.

The ground floor has a large kitchen/diner,a bathroom and seperate toilet and a lounge with a large inglenook fireplace.
The kitchen is equipped with a modern cooker, having five gas burners and two fan assisted ovens,a double drainer sink,dishwasher,stainless steel worktop and sideboard under, a large fridge/freezer incorporating an ice maker and cooled water facility.
The lounge has three setees,various side tables, a coffee table and an entertainments cabinet containing a satellite television,dvd and video players there is also a variety of books and board games.
Heating is provided throughout by individual electric heaters.
In front of the Mill is the mill pond (usually dried out in the summer) that is supplied with water from the mill stream.The mill pond flows under the Mill and to the river through the tail race.

Behind the Mill is the park of approx 2 acres, mainly of maintained grass and a few trees incorporating a small lake adjacent to the river Seye.To the north of the Mill are two meadows, seperated by a small brook that flows from the mill stream to the river.The meadows incorporate the chicken shack and sheep house that house our three sheep "Her Ladyship" the mother and her two daughters "Georgie" and "Trina".

Closer to the mill we have the swimming pool (12 metres x 6 metres), maintained for your exclusive use, fully equipped with sun loungers, sun shades, table and chairs.On the south side are the entrance gates leading to a gravelled drive and parking for three cars, adjacent to which is a garage housing a washing machine, tumble dryer and small drinks fridge.There is a clothes line on the patio adjacent to the north wall of the Mill.
