The house is in a typical rural hamlet  just 1 mile from the village centre of La Gaubretiere, offering a handy selection of shops, amenities and bars. The market town of Les Herbiers is just 6 miles away, providing supermarkets, shops, restaurants and a weekly market. The surrounding area is pretty rolling countryside, with many authentic sleepy villages to explore and interesting sites to visit, yet is within easy reach of the coast - Les Sables d'Olonne, La Tranche sur Mer and St Jean de Monts (all about  an hour away). The vineyards and chateaux of the Loire valley are accessible for day trips (Angers 1 hour) and the famous history theme park of "Le Puy du Fou" is close by for an unforgettable day out.
