Both of our gites have been sympathetically converted from former wine-making buildings and retain much French character and charm. The grounds consist of a 2½ acre estate nestled among vineyards and sunflower fields in the Dordogne region of sw france. Le Peynau is situated just 20km SW of Bergerac and the Dordogne River and only 6 minutes from the medieval market town of Eymet where, along with an excellent range of restaurants and cafe-bars, you will find a choice of three boulangeries for your fresh croissants each morning.
Our larger gite, Le Chai, is superbly converted from the wine-making barn and offers superior accommodation for up to 6 people, with three bedrooms and 2 shower rooms. Our other property (as its name suggests) is a beautifully renovated, traditional Pigeonnier. The stunning, 200 year old, Perigordian tower can comfortably accommodate up to five people in 2 bedrooms.
