Welcome to our Self catering Gites in the Limousin region
The renovated gites are equipped to a very high standard and consists of:
- Three double bedrooms - the farmhouse are equipped with their own wash basins. Combinations of super king size, twin and double beds are provided.
- Two bathrooms - one with bath and shower over, the other with shower cubicle
- Large kitchen - fully equipped with cooker, microwave, fridge freezer,dishwasher and washing machine. A cot, high chair, baby bath, stair gate & car seat are available if required. Wood burner stove.
- Open plan lounge and dining room with wood burning fire.
Outside:
- French doors lead onto a patio area, the rest of the private fenced rear garden is laid to lawn. La Grange has a raised partly covered terrace. Garden furniture, table, chairs and loungers are provided as well as a barbecue.
- Separate above ground swimming pool, with loungers provided.
Whilst fully renovated the gites retain many original features adding to their charm and authenticity. In addition to the wood burners, the gites are fully heated by electric panel heaters, so you can enjoy yourselves all year round!
The estate borders a large 7 hectare lake, known locally for its excellent carp fishing. Fishing permits can be purchased locally, or arranged for you in advance.
Having stayed ourselves in many gites and holiday cottages in the UK and France, we wanted to create something a little different. The little touches that can make your hard earned break away that bit special.
We offer an advance grocery service, the opportunity to hire a Britsh Classic car, the little bits'n'bobs ready for you in your gite. No unforeseen extras, privacy and no disturbances, but help and advice if you need it.
We remember arriving to find no soap, not a tea towel in sight, no cling film to wrap the opened food in.........a dash to the shops the minute you arrive!! At Les Brégères, we have tried to provide everything you will need to settle in straight away, whether it is putting the kettle on for a cuppa (tea and coffee provided) or opening the wine (supplied)!
Our reputation is vital, we aim high and pay close attention to the detail.
