La Petite Rose is a traditional 250yr old stone Perigordian farm cottage. Your fully equipped cottage has a large livingroom with fireplace and sofa sleeper for 2. 1 bedroom with large sunny windows overlooking the gardens. The fully equipped kitchen and culinary herb garden lets you create your own gourmet meals. You have an outdoor dining terrace with barbeque to relax.
Les Gites Fleuris is family friendly with pool, jacuzzi, acreage, children's play area with swings, climbing wall, raised fort, slide etc...An indoor games room with ping pong, toys...laundry room with washer/dryer available.
Hautefort is perfectly located to explore the Dordogne Region! The most amazing sites are within a 1 hour radius!
There is something to interest everyone in the family: 1001 castles, cromagnon cave paintings, Medieval villages, open air markets, roman ruins, etc...
ahhhh the food! Parisians say "you'll eat well in the Perigord!". This little corner of Southwest France is home to the black truffle, one of the most famous and expensive luxury foods of France, and the truffle markets are open in Winter! It is also the land of foie gras-that typical French delicacy made from fattened goose or duck liver, along with other Canard specialty dishes.. Our guests have said that the best meal they ate was here in Hautefort! And the wine regions of Bergerac and Bordeaux are only an hour away.
