Welcome to Les Glycines Brittany, our B&B in Huelgoat
Our comfortable 5 Star Chambre D’Hote B&B is situated in the beautiful small town of Huelgoat, and is in close proximity to Parc Naturel Regional d'Armorique and the Monts d'Arrée. We have three cosy en-suite bedrooms, of which the White and Cream rooms sleep two in a double room format, and the twin room has two single beds. An additional single bed can be put in the Cream room if needed. The town of Huelgoat is in an area of outstanding natural beauty, and lies along the bank of a large lake which flows into the Riviere D’Argent, the River of Gold, surrounded by 600 hectares of idyllic forests. Our Guest House#s relatively central location in Brittany makes it easy to access many different types of attractions in the surrounding area, while still being able to retain its rural setting.
Our B&B Features and Accommodation in Les Glycines, Brittany
Our Bed and Breakfast has three rooms to let, two doubles and a twin, and all are comfortably and excellently furnished. Located on the first floor of the house are the White and Cream rooms, both double rooms, which have built in wardrobes with lots of storage space and hanging space, alarm clocks, fans for hot weather, and side tables with lamps. The twin bedroom has two single beds and is located on the grounds floor of the house for easy access to the road. It too contains a built in wardrobe with plenty of space, alarm clocks, a fan for the summer and side tables with lamps.
All three bedrooms have en-suite facilities, with a shower, toilet and hand basin, and a TV/DVD player and a library of films on request. Breakfast every morning is served in the beautiful Breakfast Room, which is also available at any time for relaxation with a book or reading the local information, and you are more than welcome to help yourself to tea and coffee at any time, with trays to take it back up to your room available. Internet access is available in the Breakfast Room. There is also a patio area outside where guests can relax and eat in the sun and the peace and quiet of our small town of Huelgoat.
Guests have their own private entrance to the house.
We can provide dry, secure cover for cycles and motorbikes and have maps and walk itineraries to hand.

Our Bed and Breakfast location in Les Glycines, Brittany
Our B&B is located in the town of Huelgoat, which means high forest, after the 600 hectare forest surrounding it, which offers a huge variety of incredible strolls, walks, climbs and cycles. The area is also rife with mystery and legends, with such mythical sites as King Arthurs cave, The Devils Cave, the Virgins Kitchen, La Gouffre (the Chasm) and the Fairies Pond. In the surrounding area, there are plenty of golf courses, fishing in the lake, the Chapel of Notre Dame de Cieux and the North West Finistere Coast (which is a beautifully rugged coastline with lots of scenic walks along it).
The nearby town of Carhaix is home to one of the biggest annual Pop festivals, and also has a golf course, Adventure assault course, ten pin bowling, go-karting and a swimming pool. There is also horse riding available in the area. Just outside Huelgoat, there are old abandoned mines, and a mining canal which is host to a beautiful walk along its sides, bordered by the superb forest surrounding it. Here are also an abundance of tiny beaches and other such things in the area for our guests to discover, and we will happily provide information and advice on the best places to explore and visit.
