Welcome to our B&B in Southern Burgundy, France
Les Portails Bleus we aim to provide a comfortable and relaxing environment for you to enjoy your visit, where you can unwind and visit the many sites of interest, hectares of vineyards, Châteaux, ancient churches or just take in the amazing countryside. And, of course, sample the great choice of wines!
All our spacious bedrooms have private bathrooms, our beds are made with soft 100% cotton bedlinen and we have a salon where our guests can relax and read a book or enjoy a dvd from our collection. The hot tub allows you to soak the aching muscles after a tiring day sightseeing. A warm welcome, comfortable and spacious rooms and excellent meals all available at Les Portails Bleus. Free Wifi for those who need to stay in contact with the outside world.
Our Southern Burgundy Location
Les Portails Bleus B&B is situated on the edge of the working wine village of Azé, on the Route des Vins, in Southern Burgundy. Only 20 minutes from the A6 we are ideally situated for an overnight stop or as a base to discover this wonderful part of France. Cluny and Taizé are approx 15 minutes from us, with Cormatin, St Gengoux le National and Tournus being less than 30 minutes from us.
Walking and cycling are a good way of exploring, with the Voie Verte situated close by running north to south. Being in a wine growing region there is an abundance of independent wine growers where you can try before you buy. Goats cheese producers are also quite prolific, so all you need then is the bread! A private garden and courtyard awaits you to relax in and sip a glass of wine.
