Welcome to our Self Catering house in Languedoc, France
Grand Rue is located within the ramparts in the heart of Olonzac, capital of the Minervois, France's famous southern wine region. Probably built in the 10th century but updated structurally and modernised, the house is on three-stories and right in the centre of town. Very private and quiet. Just step outside your door and on a Tuesday you are in the middle of the weekly market.
The house has 2 entrances, one up an alleyway from Grand Rue which closes the house off from the street and the other through the garage at the back of the property.
Inside the house there is a large living & dining area and features exposed stonework, with a large fireplace and fully fitted kitchen. On the first floor there are two large double bedrooms, and two bathrooms, one en-suite. On the second floor there is another bedroom with 2 single beds and a large landing with living area (and possible additional sleeping area). Outside there is a parking area large enough for 2 cars which leads off the courtyard and out onto Rue Droit.

Our house is situated in the Languedoc-Roussillon region of France. The town of Olonzac is a beautiful town which is superbly placed as an excellent touring base in South-West France.
A magnificent lake, Lac de Jouarress, is only a few minutes away. Here you can fish, sunbathe, swim, windsurf, picnic or sail. There is also a great restaurant and cafe overlooking the water.
A major industry in this region is wine making. Languedoc can now offer many of the best wines in the world.
