This detached stone slated cottage, with private back garden, is on the south side of the courtyard adjacent to Lunga. It looks over the garden or into the sheltered courtyard.
The living room, a large pine lined room with ranch style fireplace, has some of the old coaching equipment still on the walls. The wood fire helps to heat the water. There is a studio couch as well as a large leather sofa, arm chairs, desk, table and chairs.
The kitchen has unless otherwise stated: a four ring hob with extraction hood, a separate oven, fan assisted grill, auto timer etc. There is a stainless steel sink, fridge freezer, dishwasher, electric kettle, coffee machine, iron and board, hair dryer, vacuum cleaner, hand mixer, toaster, food processor and a reasonable selection of cooking equipment and cutlery. Further equipment can usually be provided on request.has room for six to dine around the table and the usual kitchen equipment there is a large dresser with room for pets below.
Upstairs there are two bedrooms and a bathroom. The smaller bedroom is double and the larger bedroom is a double/twin room with an extra bed, it has a wash basin. The little bathroom also has a venerable antique bath. In the passage are a washing machine, a dryer, and a small airing cupboard.
In the living room there is a colour TV most with remote control, some with teletext, and either dvd or video. There is off peak storage and water immersion heaters. The wood burning stove in the living room also heats the hot water.
Guests can also make use of the Hall, which has a cosy seating area and selection of History/Reference Books, Stag heads, tigers and maps to peruse. In the Drawing Room there are games such as shove ha’penny, ping pong and snooker, as well as a grand piano.
