This cosy country house dates from the 19th century and is situated at the river Vienne 1,5 mile outside Chinon. It has an enclosed terrace where an old chesnut tree provides shade in the summer. The pool is right in front of the terrace. At the west and north side of the house a veranda was built in 2009. In that year also the roof was renovated.
Ground floor interior: hall, large kitchen with dining table and all equipment you need, toilet, living room with dining for 8 and card table for 4, large couch, wood burner, dvd/video set, hifi.
First floor: 3 bedrooms (3 double beds, two single beds), separate toilet, bathroom with bath tub.
Second floor: atic, in use as storage room.
The location is in South of the Region Centre, Loire Valley. From here you can easily reach the Limosin area to the South or the Pays the Loire to the West. Cities in the area are Saumur, Richelieu, Azay-le-Rideau, Rivau, Bourgeuil, Usse, Tours, Villandry and Amboise. You may make daytrips to the most beautiful castles, gardens and cathedrals of the Loire Valley.
