The house looks out on to our fields which have a host of wildlife, perfect for nature lovers with rabbits, badgers and foxes in abundance. Bird-watchers can enjoy the many species of bird which can be found in this thriving area, including pheasant, red kite and buzzards. You can walk through the farm up to the hills to see these views which are panoramic this is a private walk way until you reach the hill so it is peaceful with only our sheep to disturb you .and the hares that play in the fields Why not enjoy a picnic at the top and just enjoy the views. Artist love to paint these views too

This house welcomes single sex groups for walking and outdoor activity holidays. It can sleep up to 8 singles or five with a room each. We welcome couples for a romantic holiday relaxing by an open fire. Small groups of 4/6 as well as large groups/ families up to 11 Contact for prices state how many you are and nights required .

Activities close by are:- Horse riding, canoeing, kyaking , caveing, indoor wall climbing etc. swimming, 10 pin bowling, fishing mountain walking ,canal rides, train ride through the Beacon mountains suitable for children. Danyr ogof show caves, water falls, many small country shows and event through out the year including food tasting, farmers market, craft markets.
There are numerous places to eat in the area from good contry pubs serving local food to Indian/Chinese resturants. Take aways for pizza, fish and chips, kebabs, Also farm shops to buy local produce to cook your own. There are three supermarkets in Brecon Morrisons, Aldi, and The Co-op.
Towns nearby are Builth Wells, Hay on Wye, Abergavenny, Llandovery, Crickhowell,Merthyr Tydfil all within 1/2 hr drive and havinh there own cultures. Hereford with its cathedral with Map of mundy, Swansea with its seaside beach,Cardiff the capital of Wales with its castle and large shopping center, Carmarthen with its county style shopping and modern shops all within 1 hour drive.
Other places if interest in the area are~ Ellan Valley, Gold Mines, Botanic Gardens, Oakwood leisure park, Castles and many historic places of interest in all something exciting to do every day of the week, in all weathers.
