mediterraneo rural is a small family run business comprising two charming country-style self-catering holiday homes: El Sequer and Xaymaca. Both are located in the picturesque Spanish village of Benimeli, a few kilometres inland from Denia and Javea on the Costa Blanca, in the lush citrus growing Marina Alta region of Alicante, Spain. Known as “casas rurales” or rural houses in Spain, they are a similar concept to French gîtes. Jenny and Oswaldo, the Anglo-Spanish owners, have painstakingly and meticulously renovated both these buildings to very high standards, converting them into two stunning country holiday homes, featured in prestigious guide books and awarded the maximum category by the Spanish Tourism Authorities.
