Welcome to our cottage

 The ground floor entrance hall leads to a twin /double bedroom with zip and link king size bed and French doors to a private courtyard. There is an ensuite shower room and toilet, with shaver point, off the bedroom. On the first floor is a large, light and airy open plan living/dining room with a well equipped kitchen area, featuring granite work surfaces and a Belfast sink. The kitchen has all you need including a microwave/convection oven, hob and fridge whilst the lounge has a large screen tv, dvd player, radio/cd player and ipod speakers.

Bamburgh is a picturesque Northumbrian village and home of the award winning "Bamburgh Banger" with a selection of individual shops and tearooms,as well as the Grace Darling Museum. There is also a good choice of restaurants and pubs, a lovely beach and superb golf course. 

The nearby village of Seahouses is a busy fishing village with an interesting harbour offering boat trips to the Farne Islands nature reserve and seabird sanctuary (National Trust).  Kippers and fresh seafood are available from the renowned Swallow Fish wet fish shop and along with a variety of local shops there is a small,well stocked supermarket. 

You will also find a tourist information office in the village as well as a riding stables and  golf course on the outskirts.
