Our Location
The cottage is in the heart of the ancient village of North Bovey, near Chagford, in the hills of Dartmoor National Park, one of the UK's largest wildernesses. There are dozens of beautiful walks on the doorstep, taking in ancient forests, stone age ruins, head-clearing moorland and picture-perfect 12th century Devonshire hamlets.
Mountain biking, horse riding, fishing and golf are world class, and for beach lovers, the white sandy coves of the South Hams aren't far.
North Bovey is a small village made up of a handful of thatched cottages, a medieval church, oak-shaded green, and the cosy Ring of Bells pub, which serves great food and real ales. It's incredibly peaceful: the only sounds are of birdsong, distant church bells and the occasional clip-clopping of horses' hooves.
