Welcome to Moscow Farm Cottage

Relax and unwind in the peace and tranquility of a 600 acre family farm. Stay in one of the extended cottages lived in by farmworkers for many years - and wonder how they managed to bring up several children in the original part of the cottage.

Beautiful rolling East Leicestershire countryside can be walked through, gazed at, or enjoyed in your own way.

Nearby Melton Mowbray is famous for Stilton Cheese and Pork Pies. You can walk the 4 miles to Melton via our country bridleways, and sample the culinery delights it has to offer. Stilton Cheese was made at Moscow Farm, by Granny Johnson up to the 1940's, and sold at Melton market. We have her 'cash book' showing how much she sold each week, and the value of the cheese.

The owners are keen local & family historians, and the Leicestershire & Rutland Record office in only 30 minutes away.

We hope to share our lovely countryside with you soon.
