Nanjeath Farm is a 17th Century traditional 'Listed' Farmstead situated in the heart of Cornwall in a secluded, peaceful and quiet location, yet within easy reach of all that Cornwall has to offer.
With a selection of 5 holiday cottages to choose from sleeping 2 to 4 persons we are sure to have accommodation to suit your dream holiday. All the cottages have retained their original features with open beams, slate and wooden floors with rugs and comfy sofas. Each cottage is quite individual with it's own unique character. Old pine dressers and butler sinks add to the charm.
In addition to full central heating, quality electric woodburners provide the perfect ambience of a log fire should the evenings turn a little chilly. Every care has been made to make you feel at home. Your cottage welcomes you with fresh flowers and a Cornish Cream tea laid out at your arrival.
The property is set amongst mature trees and beautifully unspoiled meadows. all on level ground are perfect for a carefree walk to take in the sights and sounds and to enjoy the wildlife and tranquility that our private location offers. Without the chemicals sprayed by many larger commercial farms this is a haven for wildlife. A wide variety of birds can be spotted here along with rabbits, squirrels, pheasants and hedgehogs. At dusk, both the tawny and barn owls can often be seen hunting in the meadows.
Whilst being tucked away in a totally sheltered position, walkers can take a 15 minute walk (or 3 minute drive) to the beginning of a newly constructed footpath. From here a further 30 minute uphill climb takes you to a spot from where both the north and south coasts of Cornwall can he seen. The views are stunning and the walk home a lot easier!
Facilities available include tennis on our grass tennis court as well as croquet on the croquet lawn.
The Eden Project and famous Heligan Gardens, both within a 7 mile drive, along with the numerous other gardens all within very easy reach. Also within a short distance is the historic harbour of Charlestown. You can often see the fascinating old square sail ships here, and the harbour is frequently used for filming period dramas. The Cathedral City of Truro is 12 miles away, perfect for a days shopping, while both the North Coast with its miles of sandy beaches and rugged coastline and the gentler South Coast, with its many harbours, are within easy reach.
