Welcome to Old Mill Cottages, our self catering holiday cottages located in the centre of the pretty village of Rosedale Abbey in the heart of the North Yorkshire Moors National Park. Cottage 2 is an excellent self-catering accommodation which sleeps up to 7 people, and retains many of the original features of a 200 year old water mill.

 

 

Cottage 2 provides self-catering accommodation for up to 7 people. The cottage is the old mill built of sandstone built in the 1800s.on 3 floors it is very cosy. off road parking in the courtyard and a entrance area / sitting area a real suntrap and amazing flowers all around. The cottage has three bedrooms.

 

 

Our cottage is in the centre of the pretty village of Rosedale Abbey, near Pickering in the heart of the North Yorkshire Moors National Park. The picturesque village has two village pubs in walking distance with restaurants providing varied menus. There is also a bakery, general store and two tea rooms.

 

Rosedale abbey has a shop with ready made meals that you take away, 2 restraunts,1 cycle hire shop ,1 tea room / cafe. Pickering is 15 minutes drive away.

 

Rosedale is a popular destination for walkers to enjoy the beautiful scenery. Other popular tourist attractions include the North Yorks Moors Steam Railway in Pickering, Goathland, home of ITV’s Heartbeat series, the historic city of York, Flamingo Land and the Yorkshire coast, only a short drive away.
