Welcome to our Large Holiday House in Norfolk
Northernhay is ideally situated for both beach & town - both are less than ten mins walk away.
The accommodation consists of: Ground floor - sitting room (with bay window looking onto
Boston Square). Dining room (will seat 10 people) . Kitchen (with oven, microwave, fridge, freezer and dishwasher) Utility room (with washing machine and dryer) Plus downstairs loo/shower room.
First floor - five bedrooms (3x double, 1x twin & 1x children's room with bunk beds). Bathroom, loo plus one of the bedrooms has a small ensuite bathroom. & , on the first floor, there are four double bedrooms.
Second floor - box room with 2x single beds
The house has gas fired central heating & we will provide sheets, duvets, towels etc (but not beach towels).
Hunstanton, known locally as 'Sunny Hunny', is an old-fashioned seaside town and can be very busy in summer. There are plenty of shops including Tesco. From the house it is a five minute walk to the nearest beach (North Beach) at the bottom of the cliffs. The tide goes out a long way revealing a large expanse of flat sand. It is safe for children and there is the added attraction of rock pools. For older children and adults South Beach (at the other end of the town) offers all sorts of watersports including canoeing, wind surfing and para-surfing.
Besides the beach and watersports there are some delightfull walks along the coastal path, which forms part of the North Norfolk heritage coastline. There is golf at Old Hunstanton (1 mile), bird watching at Titchwell and lots of good pubs, including the Lifeboat at Thornham and the Lord Nelson at Burnham Thorpe.
