Welcome to At Ocean View House, our luxurious B&B in Ventnor on the Isle of Wight. Our bed and breakfast has just three luxury bed & breakfast rooms for your enjoyment, 2 of which have fantastic sea views. We aim to offer the ideal guest house for you to relax, unwind and enjoy, and even offer holistic therapy massage treatments. Our Luxurious Bed and Breakfast Accommodation
Our guest house has 3 rooms, 2 doules and a twin. All our luxury bedrooms are ensuite. The two front facing bedrooms have balconies with panoramic sea views. The balcony has a removeable partition so if the two rooms are rented to the same party the divide could be taken away, giving a large space for alfresco dining and sunbathing.
Each balcony is equipped with dining tables and chairs, and in summer, an umbrella and sun loungers. There is no smoking in the rooms but smoking is permitted on the balcony for which outdoor ashtrays are provided.
The third bedroom has a side aspect and there are still lovely sea views when seated at the dining area in the large bay window. This room also has the largest of the bathrooms and if you have the window open on a warm day you can see the sea whilst taking a bath!
There is also an area of garden furnished with table, chairs and sun loungers where breakfast may be served if requested. This is for the sole use of guests staying in room 3.
All rooms are equipped with flat screen TV/dvd, alarm clock radios, hairdryers, an Island directory containing all the info you'll need (on & off the beaten track), wine glasses & cork screw, plates & cutlery for takeaway meals, wireless broadband and tea and coffee making facilities. Towels and toiletries are also provided.
Holistic therapy massage treatments are available in the privacy of your room by Steph, our visiting therapist. Please contact us for more information.
The rooms have their own separate entrance to the private living accommodation so all three rooms can be rented together and can become one unit. This is ideal for 3 couples as they would each have their own bathroom, or a family. There is a discount if all rooms are booked together.
In the hallway there are books and games that can be borrowed at your leisure.
There is no dining room and breakfast is served in your room at no extra charge. There is a lovely dining area in each room to facilitate this, all with sea views. You may also take breakfast on the balcony in fine weather.
Take away food may be eaten in the room and cutlery is provided for this.
The location of our B&B on the Isle of Wight
Ocean View House bed and Breakfast is located on the sea front in Ventnor, on the Isle of Wight off the south coast of England. Ventnor is a picturesque coastal town on the south coast of the Isle of Wight. It has its own unique micro climate, often giving glorious summers and a slightly more mild Winter, Spring and Autumn than the rest of the country.
The town has the full range of shops, pubs and restaurants but all with an air of nostalgia adding to it's relaxing pace of life. The are many places to eat ranging from luxurious hotel restaurants and contemporary bistros to traditional waterside pubs.
There are many lovely beaches with safe swimming in the surrounding area, 3 of which are only a short walk away. There are a large choice of watersports activities close to hand including sailing, wind surfing, surfing and diving and many other activities including golf, cycling (there is a good network of cycle paths covering the whole of the Island), hand & paragliding to name but a few.
The Isle of Wight also has a host of wonderful attractions and things to see, including the Needles, Cowes, round the Island yacht race, both music festivals, the Ventnor jazz festival and much more.
