Originally a Blacksmith's workshop, The Old Smiddy has recently been converted into a beautiful three bedroom holiday cottage which sits on the water's edge in a tranquil corner of Loch Katrine, Stronachlachar.

The Cottage is nestled in the heart of Loch Lomond and Trossachs National Park with breathtaking views of Loch Katrine and the surrounding hills of Ben Lomond, Ben Ledi and Ben Venue. An ideal location from which to absorb one of Scotland's most picturesque areas. Guests can also observe the Steamship ss sir Walter Scott arriving at Stronachlachar Pier just across the bay. 
The property is also beautifully decked in white oak flooring with a log burning fire. Residents can enjoy the cottage's modern comforts in an idyllic setting - with views of the loch from every room. The cottage sleeps up to six people.  Pets welcome.  Fishing and boat hire available nearby also The Pier Cafe.
