Welcome to Parkview
Situated in the heart of the ancient and historical town of Melrose in the Scottish borders.The house is on the edge of the Gibson park which has two well equipped play parks and 3 flood-lit tennis courts.A great base for familys with kids of all ages.
Melrose is one of the most visited tourist towns in Scotland.You can visit its ancient Abbey and Roman museam.There are many relaxing walks around the and by the river Tweed which is only a few minutes from the house, as is the town center where you can browse the small independent shops and enjoy lunch or dinner in one of the coffee shops or restaurants or have a seat in the town square next to the market cross and watch the day go by.
The town is also home to Melrose rugby football club where their annual Seven a side tournament the game which they founded becomes the Biggest sporting event in the Borders with fans coming from all over the world.
If you are a fisher you couldn't be closer to the river staying at Parkview .Permit s for the Tweed can be bought locally
Parkview is a 3 bedroom semi-detached home .Downstairs there is a modern kitchen with all the appliances you'll need to enjoy your self catering break, also the lounge/dinner will accommodate six persons with ease .there is also a w.c .
Upstairs there are three well proportioned bedrooms consisting of twin,double,king beds and a family bathroom with shower and bath.All bed linen and towels are provided as are dishwasher tablets washing powder and Fairy.
The private garden has seating for six on the decked area with b.b.q and views on to the parkand town.We also have private parking
