Welcome to our self catering cottages in Brittany
Pear Tree is one of 4 cottages at La Basse Rouerie. It has lots of original features like an arched granite entrance doorway and huge exposed oak beams. The open plan lounge, kitchen dining area is ideal for family entertainment.
The comfortable lounge area has a stone and oak fireplace with a wood burner and there are some feature granite walls. There is a ctv, dvd player and a hi-fi.
The well equipped kitchen area has a washing machine, dishwasher, gas cooker, fridge and microwave.
The dining area has double doors leading to the covered veranda and then out to the pool area.
On the 1st floor there is a shower room and 4 bedrooms, 2 double bedrooms 1 with an en-suite shower room, a bedroom with 2 single beds and a bedroom with bunk beds.
They all have granite walls and exposed oak beams and electric heating for the winter months.
The shower rooms have heated towel rails.
There is a separate patio area with garden furniture, sun canopy and a BBQ.
There are 2 acres of secure gardens with shared heated pool, trampoline, swings and badminton. A games room offers table tennis, table football and various games.
Whilst we consider our accommodation to be child friendly, good parental supervision should be shown at all times.
Our France location
Our cottage is set in set in 2 acres of secure gardens with excellent views over undulating meadows. Located only a few minutes from the the pretty village of Mellé and only 5 minutes from Louvigne du Desert in Brittany. Brittany has the longest coastline in France and therefore there are miles of unspoilt sandy beaches.
Inland Brittany is less well trodden that its coast and the beautiful countryside is full of history, heritage and legends. Take time to explore the diverse landscapes of farmland, woodland, rivers, canals and lakes.
