Penyrallt Fach Cottage (which means the small cottage at the top of the wood in Welsh) is a cosy Grade 2 listed 19th century former Piggery on a secluded & idyllic organic dairy farm overlooking the beautiful Teifi Valley of Carmarthenshire, West Wales.
The cottage offers comfortable accommodation for 4 people, having an open-plan kitchen/dining/sitting room with exposed beams, wood-lined ceilings & a wood-burning stove. Much of the furniture has been made by the owners using timber harvested from the woods on the farm. The cottage is decorated throughout with a palette of warm welcoming colours using organic & eco-friendly paints.
The kitchen is well-equipped with a ceramic hob cooker, refridgerator, micro-wave oven and all the necessary utensils, china, cutlery & glass. There is a farmhouse table with seating for 4.
The sitting area has a comfortable sofa and easy chairs and the very efficient wood-burning stove is perfect in to relax by after long days on the beach or walking in the hillls. There is a tv with dvd player, a digital radio with iPod dock & a large section of dvds, books & board-games
On arrival guests will find a small welcome basket of organic items, a home-baked cake & fresh flowers from the garden on the table.
The two bedrooms, a double & a twin, are simply & attractively furnished with beds made by the owners, which are made up with duvets and lovely, locally woven Welsh wool blankets. There is an electric heater in the double bedroom & an electric blanket on the bed.
The bathroom has a bath (complete with yellow rubber ducks!) with hand-held shower, wash-basin, lavatory, washing machine & heated towel-rail.
All fuel for the wood-burner, electricity, bedlinen & towels are included in the price.
The farm & cottage are supplied with water from pure natural springs that rise on the farm.
Dogs are welcome by prior arrangement at a charge of £10 per dog. (Max. 2 dogs)

Our West Wales Location
The farm is ideally situated for visitors to discover the little known beauties of West Wales being close to the county boundaries of Carmarthenshire, Ceredigion & Pembrokeshire.
The superb beaches of Cardigan Bay & Pembrokeshire are within easy reach as are many wonderful castles and historic sites and attractive small market towns and villages.
The Pembrokeshire Coast Path and the Cambrian Mountains are only a short drive away.

The farm is a member of the Soil Association Open Farm Network.
Visitors are very welcome to wander over the fields and in our woods or to request a guided farm walk, free of charge, in the company of the farmer.
There is an abundance of wildlife and great opportunities for bird-watching and with no light pollution, star-gazing on clear nights.
